The Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician will troubleshoot and repair the industrial process instruments, electronics, and test equipment to maximize operations for AMVAC’s specialty chemical manufacturing plant. AMVAC’s I&E Technician installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts, and calibrates instruments used to control and measure variables such as level, pressure, flow, temperature, analytical, pH, motion, force, and chemical composition. The I&E Technician adheres to standard I&E procedures and techniques and follows safe work practices at all times.
At AMVAC, the Process Safety Management Engineer (PSM) works with the Plant Manager to monitor and achieve the company’s corporate objectives for the operations and production at AMVAC’s Los Angeles location. AMVAC’s specialty chemical plant which operates 24x7x 365 days a year provides products for agriculture through continuous and batch manufacturing processes. The PSM Engineer is responsible for both Process Safety Management (PSM) & Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
The Maintenance Superintendent will lead the Maintenance team at AMVAC Chemical’s manufacturing plant assuring the safety and success of the daily plant production. AMVAC’s Plant Site Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for the plant’s maintenance work and for ensuring effective use of people, resources, materials and equipment to obtain optimum performance. This specialty chemical manufacturing plant operates 7 x 24 x 365 days a year and produces products for agricultural use world-wide. The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee the plant’s maintenance by understanding and safely adhering to AMVAC’s process and procedures and manage through clear and concise communication.

Starting at $18.00 / hour with OT (overtime) guaranteed every pay period & $.75 cent shift differential when working nights. This is a swing shift position working 3-2-2-3 packaging chemicals for agriculture products.
