Vice President, Business Development and Marketing
Jean has 36 years of experience with DuPont, 24 years of which were in the agrochemical sector in the areas of Business Development, Finance and Strategy, culminating in the position of Global Business Director. His responsibilities include growing AMVAC’s business globally through acquisitions, license opportunities, partner alliances, and effective marketing programs. Jean oversees AMVAC’s Business Development, and Marketing Teams and closely collaborates with senior management to analyze new business opportunities, build models for emerging projects, develop customer programs, and launch new products.
Over the course of his career, Jean has conducted multiple acquisitions and divestitures, led initiatives to make significant portfolio additions, negotiated cutting edge licensing agreements, and strengthened reporting processes for financial information and major product lines. Jean has a BS in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
