The Synthesis Supervisor is responsible for the safe, environmentally acceptable and efficient operation of the plant on an ongoing basis. The Supervisor confers with management to establish Production and Quality Control requirements. The Supervisor directs and coordinates the department activities to meet production and QC requirements by applying knowledge of production methods, manufacturing equipment, and capabilities of the team.
The SIMPAS* Technologies Technical Representative (STTR) serves as the primary technical resource for AMVAC’s commercial SIMPAS Technologies equipment offerings – SmartBox+ and SIMPAS. The STTR is the primary liaison between AMVAC’s sales representatives for SIMPAS-applied Solutions (SaS) and SmartBox products; SaS Retail Agents and/or SmartBox+ product retailers, and farmers who express interest in using SIMPAS-applied Solutions or Ag input products that are packaged in SmartBox containers.
The Formulation Development Scientist will support AMVAC’s current business through analysis, research, development, troubleshooting and making recommendations relative to formulated products and formulation processes.
The Maintenance Supervisor at AMVAC’s Los Angeles manufacturing plant will coordinate and supervise the work of employees in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment. Duties include overall responsibility for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems to ensure smooth and safe operations 24x7x365 days a year.
The Programs Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s incentives’ programs including the initiation, tracking, review, payment request and approval process, and SOX compliance. The Programs Manager tracks the incentives, analyzes program performance and provides analysis on a quarterly and annual basis. Additionally, the Programs Manager is responsible to maintain the Company’s accounting records as it relates to programs and is the primary point of contact with the Company’s internal and external auditors in all program matters.
The Quality Control Chemist at AMVAC performs quality control evaluations of raw materials, process intermediate streams and finished products to assure conformity to established specifications. This position is for the 3rd Shift (10:00 pm – 6:00 am Monday through Friday, subject to change depending on production schedules).
AMVAC’s Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and overhauls pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, pipe fitting and cares for all the equipment in our busy chemical manufacturing plant in Marsing, Idaho. This is a key position that contributes to the overall safety and well-being of the manufacturing plant and AMVAC’s employees.
The Formulator Technician for AMVAC’s manufacturing plant in Marsing, Idaho will formulate and package seed treatment chemicals paying close attention to quality, safety and meeting the production goals. The Formulator Technician is a key member of the AMVAC production and manufacturing team.
