This position is for the 3rd Shift (8pm – 4am Monday through Friday, subject to change depending on production schedules).
AMVAC’s Quality Control Chemist performs quality control evaluations of raw materials, process intermediate streams and finished products to assure conformity to established specifications. The QC Chemist works a rotating shift and is an important team member at AMVAC’s Chemical Manufacturing plant that operates 24 hours x 365 days per year.
AMVAC’s Custodian keeps the facilities in the plant in a clean and orderly condition. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing office areas, removing trash and minor maintenance activities. This is a full-time position with benefits and paid time off.
The Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician will troubleshoot and repair the industrial process instruments, electronics and test equipment to maximize operations for AMVAC’s Specialty Chemical Manufacturing plant. AMVAC’s I&E Technician installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and calibrates indicating, recording, metering and controlling instruments used to control and measure variables such as level, pressure, flow, temperature, analytical, pH, motion, force and chemical composition. The I&E Technician adheres to standard I&E procedures and techniques and follows safe work practices at all times.
The Director of Process Chemistry manages and mentors all members of the Process Chemistry group, including R&D Chemists, Process Chemists and Scientists located at AMVAC’s sites. The Director is responsible for project management and the performance of their direct reports including hiring, managing and training.
AMVAC’s Chemical Operator monitors and adjusts the plant’s chemical processes manually and through automatic remote means while focusing on plant safety and operating at peak efficiency.
AMVAC’s Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and overhauls pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, pipe fitting, and overall cares for all the equipment in a busy, 24x7x365 operating chemical plant. Safety is a top priority. This is a key position that contributes to the overall safety and well-being of the manufacturing plant and AMVAC’s employees.
Production Supervisor with specialty chemical manufacturing and production experience who is responsible for hands-on supervision of lead operators / shift leaders and their teams for an operational chemical process unit needed immediately. The Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and is accountable for the safe, continuous and efficient operations resulting in desired quantity and quality of products for our essential business.
As a Formulator Technician at AMVAC’s manufacturing plant in Marsing, Idaho, you will formulate and package seed treatment chemicals paying close attention to quality, safety and meeting the production goals. The Formulator Technician is a key member of the AMVAC production and manufacturing team. This position is for the 3rd shift – Midnight to 8:00 a.m. – with Shift Differential.
