It's a time of significant volatility and change in crop protection, observed Bob Trogele, AMVAC EVP and COO, in a presentation at the 2022 Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) Adjuvants, Inerts, and Crop Protection Conference in Nashville, TN, in May 2022.
How best to weather the change? In an adaptation of his presentation published by CropLife magazine, Trogele highlighted a series of trends and drivers to keep an eye on – including a continuing evolution to generic crop protection products, technology shifts and dynamics, and projected global macro economic trend disruptors from 2023 through 2025.
He also identified a handful of multi-billion-dollar areas that are ripe for their own type of disruption – positive disruption – including water use, crop protection, and precision ag.
