The Regional Product Development Manager is a field-based position in AMVAC’s Midwest Product Development’s Research Region responsible for development and commercialization of new technologies as well as supporting the performance of existing products. It is one of five regional field positions in the Product Development Department. This team is comprised of a nationwide team of advanced degree, life-science and agronomically trained personnel responsible for designing studies to bring new products to market in a broad range of crop and non-crop sectors.
AMVAC’s Quality Control (QC) Chemist performs quality control evaluations of raw materials, process intermediate streams and finished products to assure conformity to established specifications. The QC Chemist works a rotating shift and is an important team member at AMVAC’s Chemical Manufacturing plant that operates 24 hours x 365 days per year.
The Quality Lab Lead Chemist will oversee the quality control laboratory and supervise the QC personnel at the AMVAC Chemical manufacturing facility in Marsing, ID. This position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the QC laboratory and the performance, training and time management of the Quality Control chemists and lab personnel. The Quality Lab Lead is also responsible for maintaining open and direct communications with the Manufacturing management to help ensure uninterrupted operations.
The Administrative Assistant - Production Planning carries out administrative and planning duties to assure the smooth functioning of the Planning Department for Amvac’s manufacturing plant at Axis, AL. As a member of the Production Planning team, this role is responsible for recording and tracking important information accurately and will communicate regularly with other departments in the plant. The Site Maintenance Manager will lead the Maintenance team at AMVAC Chemical’s manufacturing plant assuring the safety and success of the daily plant production. AMVAC’s Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the plant’s maintenance work and for ensuring effective use of people, resources, materials and equipment to obtain optimum performance. This specialty chemical manufacturing plant operates 7 x 24 x 365 days a year and produces products for agricultural use world-wide. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the plant’s maintenance by understanding and safely adhering to AMVAC’s process and procedures and manage through clear and concise communication.

The Formulator and Chemical Packaging person assists with the preparing liquids, granules and powders for shipping. Forklift experience desired. Interviewing immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer at AMVAC's manufacturing plant in Axis, Alabama. We are looking for a Process Control Systems Engineer with Honeywell Experion experience to join our team. The Control Systems Engineer at AMVAC supports and maintains the plant-wide Distributed Control System (DCS), standalone PLC's and plant alarm systems as an integral member of the Engineering Department. Interaction with all areas of the manufacturing plant site are inherent to this position. Your experience should include the ability to problem-solve and prioritize activities to meet project deadlines. Honeywell Experion experience is highly desirable.
The Operations Engineer at AMVAC’s Los Angeles Manufacturing plant is responsible for the management of all activities involved in the Operation & Maintenance of a 24 hour, 365 day operational chemical process unit utilizing highly hazardous chemicals.
As part of AMVAC’s Engineering Department, the Production Engineer is responsible for start-up, troubleshooting and production of chemical products in the plant; and supports Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and other facets of the Process Safety Management (PSM) Program. The Production Engineer assures proper process documentation is developed, reviewed, and made available to the operations team at the Axis manufacturing facility.
