Job Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, you will report directly to the VP of R&D working with other scientists to make a lasting, positive impact on our ecosystem for the health and well-being of people and animals.

- Support insecticide, herbicide, repellency, and other non-agricultural development projects
- Prepare and improve formulations used in efficacy screening based on test results
- Collect and summarize data and deliver results as oral or written reports as required
- Assist in the maintenance, method development, and rearing of select insect species
- Perform other duties as assigned by HR and Plant personnel when needed
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of laboratory experience including chromatography (GC, GC-MS)
- Basic laboratory skills including the ability to accurately weigh, measure, and follow mixing instructions
- Basic understanding of different statistical methods to analyze data
- High affinity for biological and chemical sciences
- Ability and motivation to learn new techniques
- Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of insects and plants
- Self-motivated to take projects through to successful products
- Familiarity with the metric system and dilutions is required
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills; High attention to detail
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
Education Requirements
- B.S. / Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field (with laboratory experience)
