AMVAC® Establishes U.S. GreenSolutions Product Team for Biologicals

Newport Beach, CA

GreenSolutions AMVACAMVAC®, a global technology solutions provider for agriculture, has established a GreenSolutions product team dedicated to their biological portfolio, which consists of biopesticides, biostimulants, and biofertilizers.

The product team will be committed to developing and marketing GreenSolutions technologies and led by Ted Walter, U.S. GreenSolutions marketing manager at AMVAC. Three GreenSolutions marketing development managers – Dennis Riley, Julio Lozano, and Kyle Coleman – are individually responsible for marketing efforts in the Midwest, Southeast, and Western regions, respectively.

“Our team has many years of experience developing biological markets, and is now solely focused on AMVAC’s GreenSolutions product portfolio,” said Ted Walter. “AMVAC is deeply invested in our GreenSolutions line, and the establishment of our team will allow us to better service customers interested in biological crop inputs. Our biological products provide a number of agronomic benefits to growers across the U.S., including targeted pest control, enhanced nutrient uptake, and nutrient use efficiency.”

The soil hosts a quarter of the Earth’s biodiversity, and products in the growing GreenSolutions biological profile regenerate the soil to improve soil health. The products, distributed by AMVAC and partnering retailers in the U.S., include Ecozin® Plus 1.2% ME, a bioinsecticide approved for organic farming; and SmartBlock®, a plant growth regulator. Three products expanded the portfolio with AMVAC’s acquisition of Agrinos, a yield technology product platform that works in conjunction with other nutritional crop inputs. These include B Sure®, a nutrient solution improving plant metabolism; iNvigorate®, which creates a highly productive microbial community to assist with nutrient uptake and fertilizer efficiency; and UpLift®, a fertility solution increasing crop productivity and supporting soil vigor.

AMVAC operates two North American biological manufacturing facilities, including a microbial fermentation manufacturing plant in Clackamas, Oregon, and a biostimulant plant in Sonora, Mexico.

“AMVAC is fortunate to manufacture our products within North America, which ensures we are fulfilling our role as a trusted partner for our growers,” said Walter. “The domestic manufacturing abilities we have help us provide a cost-effective, reliable product to customers, and add a level of confidence in product availability amidst international supply chain issues.”
