The Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician will troubleshoot and repair the industrial process instruments, electronics and test equipment to maximize operations for AMVAC’s Specialty Chemical Manufacturing plant. AMVAC’s I&E Technician installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and calibrates indicating, recording, metering and controlling instruments used to control and measure variables such as level, pressure, flow, temperature, analytical, pH, motion, force and chemical composition. The I&E Technician adheres to standard I&E procedures and techniques and follows safe work practices at all times.
AMVAC’s Chemical Operator monitors and adjusts the plant’s chemical processes manually and through automatic remote means while focusing on plant safety and operating at peak efficiency.
AMVAC’s Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and overhauls pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, pipe fitting, and overall cares for all the equipment in a busy, 24x7x365 operating chemical plant. Safety is a top priority. This is a key position that contributes to the overall safety and well-being of the manufacturing plant and AMVAC’s employees.
