AMVAC’s Chemical Operator will monitor and make adjustments to the chemical processes manually or through automatic remote means to keep the plant safe and operating at peak efficiency. The Chemical Operator is responsible for recording the data on log sheets and in unformatted operation logs. At all times, the Chemical Operator will follow safety guidelines maintaining awareness of the hazard of all materials handled. Personal Protective Equipment and labeling required. Rotating Shifts in a Chemical Plant operating 24 hours / 365 days.
The Instrument and Electrical (I & E) technician position is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing the physical equipment in the plant, correctly, and efficiently. The Technician efficiently repairs, or if necessary, replaces the plant equipment in order to permit the plant to operate on a continuous basis. The I & E Technician meets these responsibilities by understanding and safely adhering to standard I & E procedures and techniques.
