The Assistant Formulations Supervisor operates from established procedures overseeing the activities of personnel to assure policy compliance and production schedules are met.
Amvac’s Production Planner coordinates inventory, production schedules and material requirements to meet demand based on sales forecasts, historical data, and customer orders. Daily communication with internal and external customers to ensure the right amount of raw materials arrives to meet scheduling and production goals.
The Transportation Manager at AMVAC is responsible for managing the inbound shipments of raw materials and out bound delivery of finished goods. This role has full P&L responsibilities (rates, delivery costs and delays) including Insurance, Compliance (DOT, TSA) and maintenance. A primary responsibility of this role is maintaining regular communication with plant management and production personnel as well as external business partners. Detailed record keeping, compliance (safety, environmental, OSHA), training and consistent follow up are required. Logistics experience managing Railcar freight and Motor Carrier shipments (trucking) is mandatory. Previous production planning is helpful.
