AMVAC’s Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative assistance to the Plant Manager, Los Angeles. This individual performs confidential duties and related special projects using a high level of discretion and personal judgment. The position requires maintenance and coordination of sensitive and confidential materials. This is a part-time position (20-24 hours per week).
AMVAC’s Custodian keeps the facilities in the plant in a clean and orderly condition. Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties include performing minor maintenance activities and notifying management of need for repairs.
The Safety Technician supports and assists the Health, Safety & Security Manager in achieving and maintaining compliance for AMVAC’s (Los Angeles locations) with federal, state, local and other applicable laws and regulations and, the AMVAC’s corporate objectives.

AMVAC’s Material Handlers work with shipping & receiving unloading raw materials and inbound chemicals from tanker trucks and rail cars and loading finished goods for shipping. Requires experience loading and unloading liquids, chemicals and hazardous materials from tanks and rail cars. Must be able to operate forklifts safely and in tight places.
AMVAC’s Assistant Unit Supervisor - PCNB is responsible for the hands‐on supervision of lead operators and supporting the manufacturing activities of a 24 hour, 365‐day operational chemical process unit utilizing highly hazardous chemicals. As a part of the Engineering Department, the Process Engineer I position is responsible for process engineering; startup, troubleshooting and production of chemical products in the plant; support for process hazard analyses and other facets of the safety program. The Process Engineer I also assures proper process information is developed, reviewed and made available.
