Job Function
The HR Coordinator assists the Plant Human Resources Manager with the administration of the day-to-day operations of payroll and personnel at AMVAC’s Axis manufacturing facility. The HR Coordinator’s responsibilities include employee timekeeping, staffing and new hire orientation,benefits and other administrative duties.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Update attendance and other pertinent employee information in ADP Workforce Now
- Identify and report to HR Management any issues regarding attendance, time keeping, and/or safety related schedule changes
- Assist HR management, educate supervisors and employees on any time and premium pay exceptions
- Educate employees regarding the use of time clocks and troubleshoot site time clock issues
- Review employee timecards
- Provide supervisors with their employees’ paid benefit information such as available vacation or sick hours
- Train new hires and assist other employees on time entry, banking, and other payroll related questions
- Assist / conduct new hire orientations for all levels of plant personnel
- Maintain and provide current personnel forms (W-4, Change of Address, Payroll Change Notices, etc.)
- Update and maintain confidential reports for attendance, discipline, HRIS, complement and new hires
- Assure proper documents are distributed to Corporate HR and maintained in site personnel files
- Update posters and other HR related information on plant bulletin boards
- Assist with recruiting logistics (i.e., setting up interviews, updating recruiting tracking spreadsheets, applications, FCRA letters, etc.)
- Manage the pre-employment process which may include background checks; scheduling pre-employment physical and/or drug screens; and coordinating start dates
- Other assignments to assist HR and other management as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Timekeeping / ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) systems required
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
- Payroll experience for 100+ employees required
- Knowledge of HR laws, rules, and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- History of good attendance; prompt, dependable, reliable
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Highly proficient in the use of computers including expertise with software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
- Experience using HRIS / ATS software a plus
- Strong organizational and administrative skills & attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field
- Relevant certifications preferred
