Job Function

As a member of this important team, the Customer Service Representative supports AMVAC’s internal and external customers and is a key focal point between Commercial Sales, Production and US Customers. This position requires significant individual initiative to respond to customers with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and exhibit exceptional follow through.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers via telephone inquiries and email managing 300+ orders per month
  • Enter customer orders into the ERP (QAD) software & Transportation Management System (Navisphere)
  • Track shipments and coordinate deliveries adhering to local requirements and regulations in multiple states
  • Validate product registrations and verify pricing
  • Respond with a sense of urgency to all requests for information from both internal and external customers
  • Coordinate designated distribution requirements as directed and seek to minimize distribution delays and costs whenever possible
  • Create status reports and provide summary information to all levels of management
  • Alternate working in office and working remote option available

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service
  • Demonstrated success working in a call-center environment
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel required; ERP and/or Navisphere experience a plus)
  • Prior knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOL) & Shipping documentation processing desired
  • Demonstrated history of exceptional follow through on assigned tasks
  • Must possess a professional approach to customers and quality of work
  • Teamwork is essential to provide consistent, Top-Tier Customer Support
  • Attention to detail
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) is preferred
  • Must be able to commute to AMVAC’s Orange County office
  • Must pass post-offer background checks and other appropriate testing as required

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College / Bachelor’s degree preferred
