American Vanguard Corporation (NYSE: AVD) recently hired Brandon Brook as a sales representative in the Pacific Northwest region. Brook will promote AMVAC agricultural products and stewardship while delivering added value to customers in the Columbia Basin area of Washington state and Oregon.
“Brandon brings years of experience in agriculture and sales that will prove invaluable in his new position at AMVAC,” said Kim Bohlander, Western Region Sales Manager at AMVAC. “We are excited to have him on board.”
Brook has spent his entire career in agchem retail. Most recently, he was at the Wilbur-Ellis Company where he spent 21 years gaining experience in retail, area distribution and key account roles. He also brings leadership experience to the AMVAC team from his involvement with the Washington State Potato Foundation Board and his completion of the ARA Leadership Academy at Purdue University.
“I’m grateful to have this opportunity with AMVAC to create and maintain better relationships with growers and retailers in the basin area,” said Brook. “My goal is to grow sales and help AMVAC become a market leader in the area.” Brook holds a bachelor’s degree in applied management from Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Wash. He will continue to reside in Pasco.
